Alfreda “Freda” Nancy Richardson departed peacefully from this life the evening of August 10, 2019, after a gradual decline in health. Her son was at her bedside and supported her in the last hours of her life. Freda, the daughter of the late Leathey Couch and Herman Davis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 31, 1955.
Freda received her education in the Philadelphia Public School System. She retired from ABM as an Environmental Service Specialist where she worked for many years. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and music and devoted most of her time caring for her birds.
She is survived by Solomon Davis (Son); Tanisha, Jalisha, Solena, and Solomon Jr. (Grandchildren); Charlotte Garnett (Michael), Wilhelmenia Davis (Jacob), and Lucille Davis (Sisters); and a host of great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Freda is preceded in death by Joseph Richardson (Husband); Leathey Couch (Mother); Bishop Odis Couch (Step-father); Herman Davis (Father); Olympia Ann Davis (Sister); and Jacqueline Davis (Sister).
