Beverly Norman

Beverly Ann MeBane passed suddenly on Sunday April 12, 2020 at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

Beverly was born as a twin to Brenda Lee MeBane (who proceeded her in death) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1961 to Addie MeBane and James McGraw.

Beverly was baptized at Acts of the Apostles Church in Jesus Christ and received the Holy Ghost.

Beverly received her education in the Philadelphia Public School System, graduating from Murrell Dobbins High School. Beverly obtained undergrad certifications in Nursing, Business, and Mental Healthcare.

Beverly had two children, Matthew Lee Norman (who proceeded her in death) and Christina Norman.

Beverly was family orientated and loved her children very much. She shared a special bond with her children and twin sister Brenda.

Beverly found her passion in serving and advocating for those who suffered from mental illness and addiction recovery. She felt comfort in being able to give back and support those who needed a helping hand.

Beverly was called to serve the Lord and participated in many ministries. As she continued to develop spiritually, she began to rise in church leadership, teaching Sunday School lessons and earning the title of Evangelist.

She later joined the Sanctuary Church of God & Christ under the leadership of Bishop Guy Glimb & Evangelist Regina Glimb.

Beverly was proceeded in death by her father James McGraw and stepfather Joseph Tutt, former spouse Albert Norman, son Matthew Lee Norman, twin sister Brenda Lee MeBane, and baby sister Sandra Stuart.

Beverly leaves to cherish many memories her mother Addie Tutt, daughter Christina Norman, grandsons Ah’zaire Tajeem Norman-Briggs and Nymir Norman, brothers Tyrone MeBane Sr. and James MeBane, a special sister Pauline MeBane, a host of nieces and nephews, two close friends Wynna Williams and Diane White, and a host of church family members and friends.

Sleep on Beverly take your rest, we love you, but God loves you best.
