Conya Hill

Conya “Shaun” Hill affectionally known as “Shaun” was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 26, 1963 to the late Calvin Hill Sr. and Ruthyne R. Hill. Shaun departed this life on July 27, 2018.

Shaun received her education in the Philadelphia Catholic School system, graduating from Hallahan Catholic High School. Shaun loved playing sports while attending school, however her illness prevented her from doing so.

Shaun was a very loving person and to know her was to love her, she loved family gatherings, music, dancing and most of all she definitely loved to eat.

Shaun met her life partner, Nate Foster at an early age, and from their union three children were raised, Marcus, Shereda and Michelle. Shaun was very loving and protective of her children and grandchildren.

Shaun had many struggles during her lifetime, but during her illness she made peace with GOD and her children.

Three siblings preceded Shaun in death; Constance, Robyn, and Harold.

Shaun leaves to cherish her memory : her lifetime partner Nate Foster, her only son Marcus, two loving daughters Shereda and Michelle, three grandchildren Niani, Sahfir and Ariana, four sisters Evelyn Owens (Jackie), Sharyn Thomas, Deidre Ladson, Crystal Hill, four brothers Vernon Owens Sr., Maurice Owens, Calvin Hill Jr., and Kevin Hill (Kimberly), three aunts, one uncle, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
