A proud graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, class of 1965, Ernest lived his life with a deep appreciation for simple pleasures and lasting connections.
He dedicated many years to the City of Philadelphia's Department of Recreation, sharing his joy for life with countless individuals. His days were often spent in the company of his beloved brother, Harry, enjoying a can of peanuts and sipping coffee, their conversations reminiscent of the good old days that brought them joy and comfort. The melodies of oldies drifted through the air, as Ernest found solace in music that resonated with his spirit.
Ernest is remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the way he cherished his family and friends. He leaves behind his brother, Harry Tucker; his cherished niece, Tia Solomon; and cousins, Karen McNeil and Linda Jackson. Together, they honor the legacy of a man who found beauty in life's simple moments and much joy in the connections he nurtured.
His spirit will continue to live on in the stories shared and in the hearts of those who loved him.
