Felicia Antoinette Brooks affectionately known as “Fee” and “Flee” was born on October 9TH, 1967 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ramona and James Brooks. Felicia transitioned this life on Friday, March 19th, 2021 at 1:48am.
Felicia was educated in the Philadelphia School system. She went on to work for Paper Mills as a paper roller. She did this up until she became disabled, at this time she maintained close relationship with family and friends in which she was a heart full giver.
Felicia was brought up in a God fearing home and accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Felicia was known for taking pride in her fashion; she loved shoes, clothes and pocketbooks! Along with being a gorgeous fashionista, she had a passion for cooking. She mostly loved making baked macaroni and cheese, candied yams, chicken and dumplings and her FAMOUS Sheppard’s pie. What Felicia was best known for was being family oriented; she adored her children and always believed in putting FAMILY FIRST! Felicia was loved and cherished by all she encountered and came in contact with.
Although we are all deeply saddened about Felicia’s death, we believe that God called her home when she was ready. Felicia leaves to celebrate her life: her precious gems, her daughters Nyesha , Shamara and Shamekia and Roneisha. Her sons Rodney, Demetrius and Jaquain, her son in laws Rodji and CJ and her bonus son, James. She also leaves her grandchildren, Iysis, Riley, Logan, Kairo, Jahmir and Jeremiah. Her sister, Marcella who was her BEST FRIEND, Winifred who was her PROTECTOR, Monica who she loved and Mary who preceded her in death. Her high school love, Rodney who preceded her in death and her children’s fathers John, Kenneth, Don and Lawrence along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
