Haywood Neuby Jr.

November 19, 1974 — August 17, 2018

Haywood B. Neuby Jr., affectionately known as Booze, was born to the late Charmaine and Haywood Neuby Sr. on November 19, 1974. He sadly and unexpectedly departed this life on Friday, August 17, 2018. Haywood received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior, then joined the New Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church of God in Christ.

He attended and graduated from Saul Agricultural High School, and furthered his education at Pierce College, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He worked for Oaks Integrated Care for the last 20 years, and became the Director of Developmental Disabilities Services.

“Booze” was affectionate and passionate when it came to his family. He was the life of family gatherings. He brought so much joy and laughter to us. Just his presence in the room brought nothing but love and smiles. Booze was a silly-willy all the time. He was a big brother and a mentor to many. He was looked up to by family and friends, always looking out for others, always taking care of others. Whenever you needed him, he’d be right there, no questions asked. He was a great father, husband, relative, and friend, loved by all.

From his relationship with Michelle Pescatore, he was blessed with his oldest daughter, Brittney, in 1996. In 2002, he married Linda Rios-Neuby. From this union he was blessed again with two precious twin girls, Mila and Nyla. His daughters were the apples of his eye.

Left to cherish his precious memories are his daughters Brittney, Mila, and Nyla; his sisters Senecca, Victoria and Crystal; his Brothers Hakeem and James; Niece Ayana, Jonasya; Nephews Naeem, DeAndre, Nadir, Amir, John'mir, Tyrell, Zae'Yonn, Khalil, Rayquon, ; Stepmother Ann, Godson Tyree; Two Great Nieces, Sy'aira and Saniyah; Great Nephew Syed; Aunts Thelma, Doschia, Ophelia and Linda; Uncle Lamont, cousins; and a host of special friends from Lambert St, Smedley St, High School, College, and work.

Loving submitted,

The Family
