Jozette Williams

Jozette was born on August 12, 1960, to Lettie and Joseph Williams. On October 23, 2025, the world lost a light and heaven gained an angel.

She was born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, where she became a pillar in the community. Jozette attended Pickett Middle School and later graduated from Germantown High School. While working for a social services organization in Germantown for over a decade, she helped influence the lives of the students she worked with.

Jozette continued her natural gift to help people, which led her to pursue a Bachelor of Human Services from Chestnut Hill College and a Master of Psychology from the University of Phoenix.

Jozette especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She loved listening to music, especially her "oldies", and shopping with her daughter, regardless of what they were shopping for. She was known affectionately as "the bag lady," and she also never turned down a sweet glass of wine.

Jozette created special bonds with everyone and made them feel special. She always showed up for any occasion or celebration and was always there with an open heart and a listening ear. Her laughter filled every room.

Jozette leaves behind her children, Jonisa and Desmon, whom she adored, her life partner, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, mother, siblings, nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends who will cherish her memory with love.
