Marquina Pauline Morris

Affectionately known as Queenie, was born August 29 th , 1947 to the late Lawrence Moore and Geraldine Morris who preceded her in death. Marquina (Queenie) entered eternal rest on January 5, 2019. She was educated in the public-school system, graduating from William Penn High School. She worked at Abington School District until her retirement. Queenie was a very private person, only told you what she wanted you to know, letting you know if she didn’t want to be bothered. Many people knew her on the 4500 block of North Gratz Street, especially her next-door
neighbors Emma & Henry Wolfe, who kept check on her to see if everything was alright with her. Queenie was still able to get out to her doctor’s appointments and attend to her affairs. She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Cleveland Morris (Shirley) of Philadelphia, her
sister Christina Whitt (George) of Roxboro, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
