Phyllis Malloy

Phyllis Ann Malloy, born on November 17, 1946, in Elizabeth City, NC, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, in Ambler, PA. Phyllis was a devoted mother and grandmother, leaving behind her cherished daughter Corie Alicea, son-in-law Andre Alicea, and her beloved grandchildren Isaiah, Lily, and Isaac Alicea, along with her great-grandson Amias Alicea. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Evans, and Sheila Cox, sister-in-law, Dorothy Malloy (Bob), brother-in-law, Brian Malloy (Terry), brother-in-law Tim Mason and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Phyllis enjoyed a successful career as an Executive Assistant in the specialty chemicals and sustainable technologies industry, most notably with Johnson Matthey. Her commitment to education was exemplified when she earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Eastern University after retiring. She had a radiant smile and a remarkable ability to make those around her happy, reflecting her passion for family and life.

In celebration of Phyllis's life, a traditional funeral service will be held on July 12, 2025, followed by her burial at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken. Phyllis will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents Edna and Johnny Cox, her husband Thomas Malloy, and 2 of her sisters Judy Cox and Sharon Mason.
