Ronald Jones

September 14, 1960 — March 23, 2024

Ronald Jones, cherished son, brother, father, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 14, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Frances Sarah Jones and George S. Jones, Sr., Ronald spent his early years in Philadelphia, where he served as the peacemaker among his three brothers and two sisters. He graduated from Dobbins Vocational Technical High School and pursued a career aligned with his passion. Known for his bright smile, jovial spirit, and boundless generosity, Ronald was deeply loved by all who knew him.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ronald found solace and fulfillment in engaging in Muslim prayer practice. He also cherished moments spent with his dear friend Carolyn, who preceded him in death. A pillar of strength and support, Ronald was always ready to extend a helping hand or lend a compassionate ear to those in need.

Ronald is survived and deeply missed by his eldest brothers, George A. Jones, Jr., and sister-in-law Willette Jones; brother, Neal Jones; older sister, Elbernice Eichelberger; his wife, Cheryl David; daughters, Katrina Lynette Jones, and her children Najhier and Dajha Jones, Rhonda Renee Weems and her children, Christian and Keyori Weems, and Mia Jones; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ronald is also remembered fondly by his late brother, Gregory Jones and sister, Diane Jones, whose memory he joins in eternity, and whom he now reunites with in peace. Ronald's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
