Theada NiKita Dorsey Known to many as KITA . was born in Philadelphia pa on 11/23/62 to Evelyn Hollinger & Jospeh Dorsey. The youngest of 2 children she had 1 older brother Anthony Dorsey who passed before her in July 2014 . She attended Our Lady Of Holy Souls Catholic school for elementary . Later In life she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ where she Joined Triumph Baptist Church In 2007. She went to Simon Gratz high school and graduated in 1981’ where she went to a trade school for medical billing and coding to which she retired later in life. In 1995 she met Lloyd Hicks and had her first child Nakira Hicks , 3 years later she met Bruce Harvey and had Her son BruQuan Harvey . In 2008 Kita Met Phillip Rutledge, To which their Union lasted until her untimely passing. In 2013 Khami Ford was brought into Kita's life at 6weeks old to which she adopted later in 2018. Kita was loved & admired by many. She took on the role of mother to many kids and never turned her back anyone. She would give the shirt off her back to whomever, she loved children and would help anyone in need. She leaves behind her children Nakira, Bruquan, & Khami . Nephew & niece Anthony Jr , Eveay Dorsey, & Rae her spouse Phil . Very Close Aunt/Uncle Olivia Dorsey, Marcel & Eunice Hollinger & sister/ Cousin Wanda. Her sister Friends Shell , Lana, Nita, Mona, Mighie, And brother Kevin Smith.
