Tyrus Cherry was born on June 11, 1968, in Philadelphia, PA to Benjamin Cherry and Mary Cherry. He was the youngest of three children. Tyrus was raised in the Church of the Living God, the Pilar and Ground of the Truth, under the Pastor and leadership of Prophet F.S. Cherry. Tyrus received his education from the Philadelphia Public School system. Tyrus loved playing the clarinet, saxophone and singing in the church services. Later in his life, Tyrus performed his talents in several churches in Philadelphia area and Atlantic City, New Jersey.
On a quiet Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2018, Tyrus departed this life and went home peacefully.
Tyrus was preceded in death by his Father Benjamin Cherry who is the son of Prophet F.S. Cherry.
Tyrus leaves to cherish his memory, his Brother Alfred and his sisters Dishan, Zelda and Eva. One sister-in-law, Wanda and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
On a quiet Sunday afternoon, November 18, 2018, Tyrus departed this life and went home peacefully.
