March 3, 1956 — December 30, 2018

It is our regret to inform you that our angel, Verna Lowe, received her wings
on December 30, 2018 at 10:32 pm.

VERNA FAY LOWE, also affectionately known as “Bunny”, was born on March
3, 1956 to the late Reverend Virmie Morgan and Charles Morgan Sr. in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1972, Verna met and married Vincent Lowe and
from this union, two children were born, a son, Vincent Jr., and a daughter,
Vanessa. Later in life after Divorce, she met Kenneth Mosley and had a daughter,
Priscilla. Her parents, Virmie and Charles Morgan, and one brother, Larry Pettway,
preceded her in death. Verna was educated in the Philadelphia school system and
worked for The Philadelphia State Hospital, then, The Norristown State Hospital
for a total of 37 years.

In the early 1970’s, Verna received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior
and joined Beloved St. John Evangelistic Church under the leadership of Pastor
Matt Yancy Jr. She served on the T&H Choir and other ministries faithfully until
the passing of Pastor Yancy. In November of 1996, Reverend Clement Lupton III

was appointed Pastor, Verna remained a faithful member of the church. She joined
the Praise & Worship Ministry along with her sisters, and also loved singing with
her family group, “The Morgans”. Verna had a kind and loving spirit. She would
do anything and everything for a family member or friend. She loved to talk about
the goodness of the Lord. She also loved listening to gospels, singing, a little bit of
dancing and most of all getting together with family. Verna was a loving mother,
grandmother, and sister. She was a beautiful person with a big heart. She will be
deeply missed.

Verna leaves to cherish her precious memories; Three children, Vincent Jr,
Vanessa, and Priscilla. Seven grandchildren, Andre, Aaron, Kyasia, Kayla,
Savannah, Christopher and Venus. Four sisters, Ernestine, Lenora, Tina, and
Sylvia. Three brothers, Harry, Charles, and Kevin. One son-in-law Gabriel, two
brother in laws Kevin Hopson and Elder Eugene Coleman, Kendra; who was like
her daughter, Kenneth Mosley; a devoted friend, and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives and a devoted church family. Verna graduated from this life with
high honors!
