Veta Joe

September 20, 1964 — July 31, 2018

Veta was born to the late Lugenia Elizabeth Lunsford on September 20,1964. On July 31,2018 Veta was called home to be with the Lord, and into the arms of her mother and grandparents.

Veta was raised by her grandparents; Solomon and Veta Lunsford. Veta accepted Christ at an early age, with her family she attened the Open Door Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor B.F Johnson. She was baptized at this time.

She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System graduating from Simon Gratz High School. After graduation, she continued her education at Community College of Philadelphia. After graduation, she began her teaching career at Ethel D. Allen Elementary School.

Veta joe had two children; Willie Lunsford and Aleatha Joe. Veta was a beautiful and loving woman with a beautiful heart and soul. Her family meant alot to her, especially her seven grandchildren.

She was preceeeded in death by her grandparents; S olomon and Veta Lunsford, her parents Lugenia Elizabeth Lunsford.

Veta leaves to cherish many memories: her children: Aleatta and Willie,siblings: Walter , Theodore and Tracey Lunsford,grandchildren:Jayshawn Lunsford,Javi DeJesus, Jayson Lunsford, Terrence Johnson, Tykee Lovett, Tylil Lovett and her unborn grandchild. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The interment will take place privately
